Yora Pet Food is a product we have been trialling ourselves at home which we have fallen in love with for a variety of reasons!
Yora's main objective is based around sustainability and are a driving force for the planet, as they dedicate themselves to embarking in a farming method that in comparison to chicken farming, focuses their emissions towards a much more positive impact on our planet. As current figures stand, Yora have saved 13,000 tons of Co2 and enough water to fill 7000 olympic swimming pools. Yora protein source is comprised of Insects 🐜! (Grubs/ Black Soldier Fly larvae AKA Hermetia Illucens)
As Yora is insect based it allows a wonderful alternative to Meat food. Studies have shown that unlike meats like chicken or beef, Yora's insect protein has strong antioxidant properties which is amazing for your pets Gut health!
Grubs, the insects used in Yora's products, are rich in healthy fats like lauric acid which is great for a healthy skin and coat
Most dog food sensitivities are triggered by meats (Chicken, Beef, Turkey, Duck ect). As Yora use insects as the source of protein for their food it means dogs are much less likely to be sensitive to them and suffer from irritation.
